Here are the key care requirements for Philodendron sp Colombia:
Light:
- This plant thrives in bright, indirect light.
- It can tolerate medium light, but its growth may slow and leaves may be smaller.
- Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves. An east or north-facing window is often ideal, or a spot near a south or west-facing window with a sheer curtain to filter the light.
Watering:
- Water the plant when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry.
- The goal is to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.
- Allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings helps prevent root rot.
Soil:
