Giant Granadilla thrives in full sun. Provide at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily for strong growth and flowering. While it can tolerate light partial shade, too much shade reduces flowering and fruit production. In very hot regions, slight afternoon shade can help prevent leaf scorch, but overall it performs best in bright, open locations.

Temperature and Climate
This plant prefers tropical to subtropical climates. The ideal temperature range is between 20–32°C. It is sensitive to cold and frost; temperatures below 10°C can slow growth, and frost can severely damage or kill the vine. In cooler regions, grow it in a large container so it can be moved indoors or into a greenhouse during cold periods.

Soil Needs
Giant Granadilla grows best in rich, well-draining soil. A loamy soil mixed with compost or well-rotted organic matter works very well. The soil should hold moisture but never stay waterlogged.
