Black ZZ Aurea (sometimes called ZZ Raven for the black form, and ZZ Aurea/Gold for the golden-new-growth form). These are varieties of Zamioculcas zamiifolia, so their care is very similar.

🌿 Black ZZ Aurea Care Guide
Light
-
Bright, indirect light is ideal.
-
Tolerates low light, but growth will slow.
-
Avoid strong direct sun—it can scorch leaves (especially new yellow/gold Aurea growth).
Watering
-
Water only when the soil is completely dry.
-
Typically every 2–4 weeks, depending on your environment.
-
ZZ plants are drought-tolerant; overwatering is the #1 way to kill them.
Soil
-
Use a well-draining mix.
-
Aroid mix or cactus mix + perlite works great.
